It’s an art form that requires mastering two distinct yet overlapping disciplines.

    Lighting for a live audience is about immersion and visceral impact. It’s about shaping the energy of the space, painting the architecture with colour, and creating a sense of collective euphoria. But the camera sees things differently. What looks spectacular in person can appear blown out, noisy, or flat on screen. The dynamic range of the human eye is far more forgiving than that of a broadcast camera sensor. This is where the science of camera-ready lighting comes in, demanding a meticulous approach to colour temperature, flicker rate, and intensity.
